According to Land of 10, it sounds like 2018 Husker verbal commit Cameron Brown is participating in the Ohio State summer camp today along with teammate Kamryn Babb. Brown quickly committed to the Huskers after Mike Riley expressed an interest in getting him into the fold for this class.
Many Nebraska fans were scratching their heads following Brown’s commitment this past May as he wasn’t what some would consider a high-profile recruit on the Big Red’s radar. Proving skeptics wrong, Brown received a significant rating bump from Scout.com today making him a four-star prospect and placing him at No. 223 in the service’s top 300 prospects.
He remains a three-star prospect according to the 247Sports Composite Index and Rivals.com.
Kudos to Riley and Keith Williams once again seeing a recruit’s potential before most other programs. An exceptional athlete with great speed, watch for Brown continue to rise over the summer and well into the fall.
The Huskers are also still actively working on 2019 athlete Max Williams. He was spotted today at the Rivals Challenge photo shoot sporting a Nebraska hat. Several other top programs will be fighting for the services of this talented California athlete right along with the Huskers.

In other 2019 news, Cuervo, Tex. wide receiver Jordan Whittington is set to trim his list of top schools today. Nebraska has been on him for quite a while as he picked up an offer on April 7 and the Big Red made his list of top schools back in March.
It’s expected that the Huskers make the cut again. However, it will be a tough mountain to climb with Texas and Texas A&M working hard to lock up the in-state talent, not to mention programs like Oregon and Alabama hot on his tail as well.
